A building of significant heritage importance.

Located in the desirable village of Tickhill near Doncaster, this former farm complex has been sensitively and carefully restored to incorporate luxurious living accommodation set within two buildings. The five bedroom farmhouse serves as the main family home whilst a separate barn annexe provides a two bedroom apartment for guests and office, leisure and spa facilities for the use of the family.

The significant heritage importance of the Lindrick Farm required us to enter into extensive discussions and negotiations with the Local Authorities Planning and Conservation teams. A key issue was the extreme dilapidated state of the barn attached to the farmhouse which was deemed structurally unsafe. We managed to secure the agreement of the Local Authority to take down the barn and reuse the stone to completely rebuild it exactly as it was. This characterised the underlying design ethos to preserve and enhance the existing character of Lindrick Farm, in particular the special relationship that existed between the farmhouse and the barn.

The result is a spectacular and expansive family property which has completely brought back to life a dilapidated complex of farm buildings in the heart of one of the most sought after villages in South Yorkshire.
